“A wonderful welcome! Right in the centre of a medieval village that can be seen on foot. You walk down to the Loire, where thousands of a birds on an island sanctuary sing their enchanting song. The room was spacious, clean and pleasant! A delicious meal! Thank you for everything! We would love to return.”
“We only stayed for one night in this hotel with my daughter. The warm welcome, the room, and the service were all perfect. Despite our late arrival, staff had waited up for us to open the gate. The room was spacious and decorated with simplicity and taste. We greatly appreciated being able to leave our car in the courtyard without any problems since it meant there was no need to unload all our baggage. The beds were excellent and the bedding of high quality. The room service breakfast may not be as varied as in the dining room, but it was perfect for us (yoghurt, apple sauce, pastries, fresh bread, and jam...). We will return. Our stay was just one leg of a long journey, and the A10 highway is quite nearby. I don’t regret the few extra kilometres travelled to spend the night in such a pleasant spot. Great value, to be recommended unreservedly.”
“The room was spacious and quiet with a beautiful beamed ceiling. Nice beds. Overheated, like most hotels (but after all, to each his own!). A fresh breeze took care of that.
Renovation work is under way (but will be over soon, I think, at least in time for summer).
The meal was excellent! The “Maître Restaurateur” title is clearly merited. The only small (really small) damper was the bread, which could have been better of better quality though it was perfectly serviceable. The service was fast.
The breakfast was also quite good and included sweet and savoury options (the home-made cake, crêpes and financiers were especially tasty)".
Meets all expectations
“Very clean room. An excellent welcome. The restaurant is also worth mentioning—meals there are really very good. In short, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. What’s more, the setting must be even nicer in summer.”
